The problem
Before visiting a café, people want to see the menu, understand the atmosphere, and find practical information. This project brings those needs into one website for Bean & Barrel in Highland Falls.
My contribution
I developed the website and its visual presentation, working across typography, layout, imagery, and the organization of visitor information. I approached it as an independent web project; this page does not imply a commissioned client engagement.
Technical approach and design decisions
I organized the site around the menu, gallery, and information a visitor needs before arriving. The visual design gives the café a distinct presentation while keeping those tasks accessible on a phone.
The design work gave me a different way to practice product judgment: deciding what someone needs to see first, what can wait, and how the interface can communicate the character of a place.
Result
The website is publicly accessible. The work demonstrates web development and visual design; I do not claim measured increases in visits, search rankings, or revenue.
